National Living Treasures
Award conferred on Filipinos who are at the forefront of practice, preservation, and promotion of the nation's traditional folk arts. Its main objective is to honor and support traditional folk artists and see to it that their skills and crafts are preserved.

Ambahan
An oral tradition of poetic verses of the Mangyan. It is composed of seven-syllable lines that use metaphors to send a point or message. It covers wisdom, courtship, farewells, etc.

A traditional weaver from the T'boli tribe.
T'nalak weaving
Begins with stripping the abaca stem for fibers. The thread is dried, hand-tied strand by strand, then mounted on a frame where selected threads are tied to resist dye. These tied bundles determine the cloth's design. The t'nalak is woven on a backstrap loom, which strains the weaver's back and eyes.

Eduardo Mutuv
He is recognized for his religious and secular art that uses silver, bronze, and wood, and later learned the art of metal plating.

- Made noteworthy contributions to his/her profession or to the development of the nation

Thirteen Artists Award (TAA)
Created by the CCP to motivate upcoming generations of visual artists. Recipients vary and offer no standard template. Awardees are often avant-garde. Award is given every three years.
The following are qualifications to be nominated for the award:
- Filipino ciitizenship
- Less than 40 years old in the year of conferment
- Artworks relevant to present situations
- Work presented in a form of contemporary art
- Work evident of integrity, uniqueness, and thought-provoking ideas
Gawad CCP Para sa Sining
The highest award the CCP can give to artists or groups of artists whose body of work has constantly shown high quality and has contributed to the development of their chosen art form. The award recognizes the following art forms: visual arts, dance, theater, film, literature, broadcast arts, technical theater, and production design.
Category A
Given to artists or groups of artists that have continuously produced high quality work.
Category B
For artists or groups of artists that made great contribution to the development of their art and craft in their region, whether of birth or residence.
Category C
Recognizes people and cultural workers who have contributed to the cultural development of art in the country through research, curatorship, and administration.
Category D
Acknowledges artists or groups of artists who have significantly developed or promoted arts and culture.
