discrimination
the unfavourable treatment of a person based on a certain attribute (e.g. age, gender, disability, religion, etc.) and can be direct or indirect

Inherant Requirements
this defence only applied to allegations of discrimination in employment
an employer can argue that a person, because of age or disability, cannot carry out the inherant requirements (essential duties) of the job
