Ramus

Trochanter

A prominent ridge on a bone.

A pointed process that is sharp and slender.

A smooth, rounded articular process.
Trochlea
A smooth, grooved articular process shaped like a pulley.

A small, flat articular surface.

A rounded passageway for blood vessels or nerves.

A tunnel-like passageway through the substance of a bone.

An elongate cleft or narrow, slit-like opening in a bone.

A chamber within a bone, normally filled with air.
