Adult Volunteers
Considered to be senior to cadets, no matter their rank or how long they have been in the program. Make up the officer corps of the Sea Cadets.
Administrative Officer
Responsible for processing paperwork for the unit like enrollment.
Supply Officer
In charge of material supplies and uniforms.
Commanding Officer
Top of the unit chain of command.
Division Officer
Directly above the Leading Petty Officer in a unit's chain of command
Eagle
Separates the insignia of Petty Officers from Seaman and Seaman Apprentice on dress uniform insignia
Bars
Increase on Sea Cadet insignia as ranks increase. SA to SN and Po3 to CPO.
Lieutenant Junior Grade and Lieutenant Commander
Rank includes a half of a stripe on the sleeve or shoulder board insignia.
ENS, LTJG, LT, & LCDR
Rank includes at least one full gold stripe on the sleeve or shoulder board insignia.
Lieutenant Commander
Officer metal collar insignia is a gold oak leaf.
Crow
The term for the eagle on a Petty Officer rank insignia.
Midshipman
Shoulder board does not have a gold bar.
