sound waves enter ear and hit the
ear drum a thin typanic membrane causing it to vibrate
then these vibrations go to the 3 tiny bones called ossicles which are
the hammer the anvil the stirrup
the ossicles job is to
amplify and transmit sounds to inner ear
after ossicles vibration passes through semi-circular canals and to cochlea who`s job is to
transmit vibrations into electrical signals
the electrical signals get carried to brain by the
auditory nerve
human hearing range is
20-20000 hertz
human hearing is limited because of
shape and size of ear drum
structure of internal parts which vibrate to transfer energy from sound wave
