What are the five different glands in the integument?
The Sebaceous Glands, the Sudoriferous glands, the Scent Glands, the Ceruminous Glands, and the Mammary Glands
What is the function of the Sebaceous Glands?
To produce sebum (oil) to keep the skin pliable
What is the medical term for oil?

Everywhere on the skin but the palms or soles of the feet

Sex hormones like estrogen or testosterone
What are the Sudoriferous glands?
Glands that release sweat for cooling.
Where are the Sudoriferous glands not located?
The lips, ears, and nipples.

The axillary region, genital region, inguinal region, perianal region
What are Ceruminous Glands?
Glands that secrete wax

In the outer ear (The external auditory meatus)

To lubricate the nipple during nursing
