Change management is the process of planning and implementing a strategy for supporting individuals, teams and organisations adapt to changes within the organisation.

• old hardware isn't good enough for the new system

• employees require substantial training to understand the new system

• business must continue uninterrupted during system implementation

• new software is incompatible with old software and data

• new system was not actually designed for the business' needs
