Why does it become more concentrated at each level?

The 10% rule means that the organism on higher trophic need to eat more organisms from lower trophic to have enough energy

this means the high trophic potentially are eating more lower trophic organisms that are infected

infected individuals are easier prey because:

  • they are slower

  • dead prey are easier to catch
