Order of the events chapter 5-8 The Great Divorces

The narrator sees lions playing in the new place

1st Event

The narrator realizes he can walk on the water because it's solid to the ghost

2 events

The bright person asks the ghost "will you come with me to the mountains?"

3 events

One of the ghost tells a Bright person that they have to go back to the grey town because they're presenting a paper

4 events

A ghost gets hit by an apple & is severely injured

5 events

An Angel speaks through the waterfall telling the ghost it cannot take the apple back to hell

6 events

A ghost asks the narrator if he's thinking of going back to hell

7 events

The narrator being to doubt the intentions of the solid people

8 events

The narrator starts worrying about what will happen if it rains in the new place: "even a shower of few dew-drops from branch might tear me in pieces".

9 events

A scared ghost tells a Bright Person to "go away! can't you see I want to be alone?

10 events

unicorns gallop through the new place.
