Emergency Banking Act
This act ended the runs on the bank and created the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation, which insured bank deposits.
Federal Emergency Relief Act (FERA)
Aiming to put people back to work, FERA operated a large number of work relief projects, including construction projects, projects for professionals, and production of consumer goods. Its work was later taken over by the Works Progress Administration (WPA).
