Covid antigen test

nasopharyngeal or nasal swab performed to detect viral antigen for SARS-CoV-2. Results take 20-30 minutes.

Covid PCR test

detects RNA of SARS-CoV-2. Results take 24-48 hours. Patient leaves and he is contacted with results.

Rapid molecular Covid test

detects genetic material from SARS-CoV-2. Currently only performed on specific patients that meet criteria (such as age, risk factors etc..) Results take 20-30 minutes.

Wet prep

A vaginal wet mount, also called a wet prep or vaginal smear, done to find the cause of vaginitis, an inflammation of the vagina. Sample is obtained by obtaining a sample of vaginal discharge with cotton swab.

Chlamydia testing

Sample is taken by urine. Results take 2-3 days. Patients are contacted with their results.

Sample is taken by urine or with cotton swab. Results take 2-3 days. Patients are contacted with their results.

RPR test

rapid plasma reagin (RPR) test is a blood test used to screen you for syphilis. It works by detecting the nonspecific antibodies that your body produces while fighting the infection. Results take 2-3 days. Patient is contacted.

Covid IgG antibody test

Blood test to detect IgG antibodies for SARS-CoV-2. Results take 2-3 days. Patient is contacted.
