Place sheets of newspaper on the ground with 1 less sheet than players
Explain students will “go for a swim” walking around the papers
Explain yelling “shark” means students need to find a nearby sheet to stand on and avoid being 'eaten'.
Goal: Keep the group “safe” for as long as possible
Zip, Zap, Zop
Invite students into a standing circle
Ask the group to repeat zip, zap, zop 3-4 times
Explain you will send the energy to the next person by saying zip, the next will say zap, and the final will say zop before restarting the cyle
Goal: Go quickly and stay consistent in rhythm
One Word Storytelling
Invite students to circle
Explain the group is going to create a story together using one word or phrase.
Start the story with the first word or phrase
Continue around the circle until the story seems complete.

Invite students into a standing circle
Explain students can choose to tell a story about their name (real or fake)
Divide the group into pairs where they will share their stories
Depending on comfort level & time, each pair shares a brief summary of the story they heard or head straight into reflection

Ask students to walk silently around the room at their normal pace
Invite students to secretly pick one person in the group and stay as far away from them as possible, without giving an indication they were picked.
Invite students to secretly pick one person in the group to stay as close to as possible.
Goal: Keep the person chosen to stay as close to as possible between you and the person chosen to stay as far away as possible.
