An individual living in a long-term care facility who requires assistance with daily activities due to age, illness, or disability.
CNA
Certified Nursing Assistant, a healthcare professional who provides basic patient care under the supervision of registered nurses and other medical staff.
Restorative Aide
This is a CNA who assists residents with Range of Motion or weights the residents and takes part in activities
LPN
Licensed Practical Nurse, a health professional who provides basic nursing care and assists Registered Nurses in various medical settings.
RN
Registered Nurse, supervises LPN’S and CNA’s. RN’s also administers medication, does nursing assessments and develops care plans
DON
Director of Nursing, responsible for overseeing nursing staff and ensuring quality patient care in healthcare facilities.
