Normative/ Positivist Conception
the conception of deciance that assumes there is a general set of norms of behavior conduct, and conditions on which all individuals can agree
Relativist/ Constructionist Conception
assumes that the definiton of deviance is consturcted based on interactions with those in society
Critical Conception of Deviance
the conception of deviance that critiques the existing social system that created norms of oppression
