Packaging
Refers to products made of any material for the purpose of containment, protection, handling, delivery and/or presentation of goods, from raw materials to processed goods.
Multi-material packaging
Packaging composed of two or more materials joined together that cannot be separated and recycled.
Small format packaging
Items smaller than 40 to 70mm that tend to escape collection or conventional recycling sorting facilities.
Oversized packaging
Standardized boxes that create unbalanced loads, increase storage spaces, and result in inefficient deliveries.

Mandatory Packaging Reporting (MPR) Scheme
Companies are required to submit annual reports on specified packaging to NEA.
foodpanda Green Label
A program that identifies sustainable brands on foodpanda's platform through a restaurant certification scheme.
AfA guidelines to reduce e-commerce packaging
A set of guidelines on sustainable e-commerce packaging released in March 2025.
