Midpoint Theorem

If M is the midpoint of line segment AB

then:

AM = 1/2 AB and BM = 1/2A AB

AB = 2AM and AB = 2BM

Angle Bisector Theorem

Supplementary/Same angle/Congruent angles

If two angles are supplementary to the same angle then they are congruent

Supplementary/congruent/Congruent angles

If two angles are supplementary to congruent angles then they are congruent.

Complementary/same angle/congruent angles

If two angles are complementary to the same angle then they are congruent

Complementary/congruent/ congruent angles

If two angles are complementary to congruent angles then they are congruent

Right angle/congruent angles

If two angles are right angles then they are congruent to each other (All right angles are congruent)

Congruent/Supplementary/Right angles

If two angles are congruent and supplementary then they are right angles.

Intersect/congruent adjacent/perpendicular

If two lines form congruent adjacent angles then they are perpendicular.

Perpendicular/Intersect/Congruent adjacent

If two lines are perpendicular then they intersect to form congruent and adjacent angles.

Vertical/congruent
