We bought it for only 3 million and it had minerals underneath it which made the Canadians nervous because Alaska was not attatched

a cavalry regiment organized by Teddy Roosevelt in the Spanish American war- they wanted to fight Cuba and would do anything to become more manly

The US conquered Cuba in 100 days with not a single casualty and thougsands of Spanish causalties

armed conflict between the First Philippine Republic and the US- we created reconcentrados for the filipinos- there was debated about annexation and Ben Tillman and the South opposed annexation
