The fool
begins his mighty quest, set out to learn from all the rest
The magician,
with his charms and spells, taught him how to think so well
The priestess
with her wit so sharp, showed him not to fear the dark
the empress
with a heart so dear, gave him love he could keep near
the emperor
on his throne of gold, taught him laws he must uphold
the hierophant
a church so bright, made him see the holy light
the lovers
gave him love so true, it challenged all of his world views
The chariot
paved his way to the top, so he could win the day
Strength
came and worked its charm, empowering him through pain and harm
the hermit
taught him how to find the answers deep within his mind
the wheel of fortune
began to roll and a difficult path would soon unfold
Justice
it must be served. a punishment for him reserved.
the hanged man
showed him what he needed to know, '“sometimes it’s best to just go with the flow”
Death
came and all was lost. A fresh start, but at what cost?
Temperance
taught him to balance his mind, and inner peace the fool would find
The devil
caused him pain, the fool was blind to his vices and chains
The tower
It crumbled, his world fell apart. The fool must suffer a broken heart.
The star
begins shining and makes him feel warm. He welcomes this calm after the storm.
The moon
rises and leads him astray. the illusions it casts send him out of his way.
The sun
who sets him right, walking his path again towards the light
Judgement
arrives, the fool looks back, absolved of his sins, his crimes, and his past
the world
the fool will find, his long road has ended just in time
