Lachman's Test
A special test used to assess the integrity of the anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) by stabilizing the femur and pulling the tibia forward.
Anterior Drawer Test
A test to assess the ACL by flexing the knee at 90 degrees and pulling the tibia forward while stabilizing the foot.
McMurray's Test
A special test for meniscal tears that involves flexing the knee and then externally or internally rotating the tibia while applying a varus or valgus stress.
Posterior Drawer Test
A test to assess the integrity of the posterior cruciate ligament (PCL) by flexing the knee at 90 degrees and pushing the tibia backward.
Valgus Stress Test
A test to assess the medial collateral ligament (MCL) by applying a lateral force to the knee while it is slightly flexed.
Varus Stress Test
A test to assess the lateral collateral ligament (LCL) by applying a medial force to the knee while it is slightly flexed.
