A. Include your main thresh statement at least three times in your Bible lesson and as often as possible throughout the class time

B. When giving the MTS related to the Christian child

(If you know Jesus as your savior….)

  • First time: identify the Christian child and just give the MTS

  • Second time: identify the Christian child, State the MTS, and apply it to the child's life using scripture and appropriate examples

    • Use the personal word you

    • Use real examples of the child can understand and identify with

    • Use verses to support the teaching of the MTS

  • Third time: identify the Christian child, state the NTS, and challenge the child to live the truth

    • Repeat the scripture verse and examples you used in the MTS

    • Challenge the Christian child to obey God's word. Use a personal rhetorical question involving the teaching of the main thrust statement

    • Suggest a specific way for the child to apply the truth he has learned
