In Spain, lunch and dinner are later than in the U.S.
In Spain, breakfast is smaller and lighter than in the U.S. (such as a café con leche and a pastry or cookies)
In Spain, lunch is a significant meal and typically consists of multiple courses. Most businesses and schools close during this time so everyone can return home for the meal and a siesta.
In Spain dinner can be served as late as 10 pm.
El festival de Las Fallas

The sculptures are usually of famous figures, both real and imaginary. Often, those depicting famous people involve satire.
They are made of wood and paint and are as tall as buildings.
They are burned at the end of the festival, but a vote is taken, and pieces of a few are saved in a museum each year.
