The Lord is not slow to fulfill his promise, as some count slowness, but is patient toward you, not wishing that any should perish, but that all should reach repentance.

2 Corinthians 7:10

For godly grief produces a repentance that leads to salvation without regret whereas worldly grief produces death.

1 Thessalonians 1:8-9

8 And now the word of the Lord is ringing out from you to people everywhere, even beyond Macedonia and Achaia, for wherever we go we find people telling us about your faith in God.
