Freckles: flat, small macules of pigmentation that appear after sun exposure

Vitiligo: depigmentation of skin

Striae: stretch marks

seborrheic keratosis: crusty pigmented lesion common in older adults

Nevus/mole: flat or raised brown marking

Cutaneous horn

Cutaneous tag: raised papule with depressed center

Cherry angiomas: small, raised spots typically seen with aging

Basal cell carcinoma

squamous cell carcinoma

melanoma

longitudinal ridging: seen mostly in elderly; no known etiology

half-and-half nails: chronic renal disease

pitting: psoriasis

Koilonychia: spoon shaped nails; anemia or endocrine/cardiac disease

Yellow nail syndrome: AIDS & respiratory syndromes

Paronychia: local infection
