Multi-stage fitness test

  • aerobic power

Description of the test

  • cones are positioned 20m apart

  • On the beep, participants must run to the next cone a arrive before next beep

  • Failure to make two ‘beeps’ in a row results in the test being over. Participants will record their level, (eg:5.2)

  • Levels progressively get faster as participants run

Description of the test

  • cones are set up within a 5×10cm grid ,creating the columns and a slalom in the middle column

  • To start the test, participants are required to lie flat on the ground face facedown

  • On the start whistle, participants are required to run around the cones in the set sequence

  • Once the participant runs past the ‘finish’ cone, the stopwatch theme is recorded
