Present Tense
A verb tense used to describe actions happening currently, e.g., je fais (I do), je joue (I play).
Perfect Tense with Avoir
A verb tense used for completed actions, formed with the auxiliary verb avoir, e.g., j'ai visité (I visited).
Imperfect Tense
A past tense indicating an ongoing or habitual action, e.g., quand j’étais petit, je jouais (when I was small, I played).
Near Future
A verb structure indicating an action that will happen soon, using 'aller', e.g., je vais aller (I am going to go).
Simple Future
A verb tense used to describe actions that will happen in the future, e.g., j’irai (I will go).
Regular Verbs
Verbs that follow a consistent pattern in their conjugation across different subjects.
Irregular Verbs
Verbs that do not follow standard conjugation patterns, requiring special forms to be learned.
Negative Form
Constructed using ne…pas, which negates a verb, e.g., je ne fais pas (I do not do).
Modal Verbs
Verbs that express necessity or ability, such as devoir (must), pouvoir (can), vouloir (want).
