Tell me about a time youve worked in a team
In school/uni, I’ve worked on group projects where we had to divide tasks and communicate clearly. I always make sure I do my part, support others, and keep things organised. I’ve learned that teamwork works best when everyone communicates and helps each other.
How would you handle a difficult customer?
“I’d stay calm, listen to what they’re saying, and show that I understand their concern. I’d apologise if needed and try to find a solution that helps them. If it was something I wasn’t sure about, I’d politely get a supervisor so the customer feels supported. My goal would be to keep the situation professional and make sure the customer leaves feeling heard.

“My strengths are reliability, communication, and a strong work ethic. I’m quick to learn new tasks, I stay organised, and I’m comfortable working in busy environments. I’m also good at staying calm under pressure and keeping a positive attitude, which I know is important in retail.

“One thing I’m improving is speaking up more confidently in new situations. I’ve been practising by taking on more responsibility in group work and pushing myself to communicate more clearly. It’s helped me become more confident when talking to new people, and I’m continuing to work on it.”
