psychrophile: -5 to 20C
mesophile: 15-45C
thermophile: 40-80C
extreme thermophile: 80-121C

What are the different types of osmotic pressures?

isotonic - solute concentration equal both inside and out

hypotonic - high solute inside cell ( swelling)

hypertonic - high solute outside the cell (cell death and pasmolysis)
