First part

I believe in Phi Gamma Delta, guide and teacher of my heart, and in the enduring principles of its foundation.

Phi

I believe in Phi, its first and all powerful influence as my rule of daily action, binding to me constant service and, if need be, to self sacrifice for my brothers, and teaching me that loyalty and justice are the prime essentials of true character.

Gamma

I believe in Gamma, for wisdom is better than rubies, and all things that may be desired are not to be compared unto her. I believe in truth, her vital element, which alone the things of the world never dies: and that I have been placed here to pursue knowledge and achieve scholarship so that I may be part in the upward march of humanity.

Delta

I believe in Delta, the goal of human endeavor, coming as the unsought reward of a pure and noble life, consecrated to others. I believe that neither the worlds recognition nor the applause of men is of necessity her insignia, but that she resides wherever there is a conscience untroubled by remorse for past actions or regret for lost opportunities.

Final

And I believe that my constant faith in this trinity of Phi Gamma Delta and my whole hearted devotion to it, will make my paths pleasant and fruitful all the days of my life, and will win for me peace and happiness, and for Phi Gamma Delta glory eternal.
