Vector
A quantity with both magnitude and direction.
Unit & Dimensions
Units represent physical quantities, while dimensions describe their fundamental nature.
Kinematics
The study of motion without considering its causes.
NLM
Newton's Laws of Motion, describing the relationship between a body and the forces acting upon it.
Circular Motion
Movement of an object along the circumference of a circle or rotation along a circular path.
Work Power Energy
Work is the energy transfer, power is the rate of doing work, and energy is the ability to do work.
Centre of Mass
The unique point where the weighted relative position of the distributed mass sums to zero.
Rotational Motion
Motion of a rigid body in which all particles in the body move in circles about an axis.
Gravitation
The force of attraction between all masses in the universe.
Elasticity
The ability of a body to resist a distorting influence and to return to its original size and shape when that influence or force is removed.
Fluid
A substance that has no fixed shape and yields easily to external pressure; a gas or liquid.
KTG Thermodynamics
Kinetic Theory of Gases explains macroscopic properties of gases in terms of the motion of constituent particles; Thermodynamics deals with heat and temperature and their relation to energy and work.
SHM
Simple Harmonic Motion, a type of periodic motion where the restoring force is proportional to the displacement.
Wave Motion & Sound Wave
Wave motion is the transfer of energy through a medium, and sound waves are mechanical waves that propagate through a medium.
Electrostatics
Deals with the phenomena and properties of stationary or slow-moving electric charges
Capacitor
An electrical component used to store electrical energy in an electric field.
Current Electricity
The flow of electric charge through a conductor.
Magnetic Effect of Current
The magnetic field created by moving electric charges.
EMI & AC
Electromagnetic Induction and Alternating Current, dealing with electromagnetic induction and alternating currents and circuits.
EMW
Electromagnetic Waves, a form of energy that propagates through space as oscillating electric and magnetic fields.
Geometrical Optics
Deals with light as rays and studies image formation through lenses and mirrors.
Wave Optics
Studies phenomena where light exhibits wave-like properties, such as interference and diffraction.
Modern Physics
Encompasses theories developed in the early 20th century and beyond, including relativity and quantum mechanics.
Semiconductor
A material with electrical conductivity between a conductor and an insulator.
Error & Practical Physics
Error analysis in experimental measurements and practical applications of Physics principles.
