Essay Question: (MEMORIZE REFERENCES TO USE)

What does it mean to be a woman biblically? What is a wife biblically? Give a reference for each and discuss 2 of the passages of Scripture as they apply to womanhood in general, OR being a wife in particular.

DEFINE: Biblical Woman - A biblical woman is called to seek first the Lord and express their femininity in a Godly way, such as dress and mannerisms, not gossiping, and learning how to be a wife and mother.

DEFINE: Biblical Wife - She is called to submit to her husband, who has been given authority by God. She is to support him in his decision and reprove him when he is in sin. She is not to slander or gossip against him. She is to sacrificially love.

Titus 2:3 talks about older women and the example they are to set so that they can teach the younger women; to love their husbands and love their children well.

Proverbs 3:10-31 talks about all the things a woman, and specifically wife, can be and what makes her attractive.
