True Happiness
The ultimate goal or purpose in life, often contrasted with bad ways of achieving happiness.
Utilitarianism
A philosophy focused on maximizing overall happiness and well-being.
Hedonic Treadmill
The idea that people return to a baseline level of happiness, despite major positive or negative events or life changes.
Beauty, Truth, Goodness
These represent core values often associated with ethical behavior and moral actions.
Morality of an Action
Evaluated based on three aspects: act, intention, and consequence(s).
Act
The specific action or behavior being evaluated for its morality.
Intention
The reasons or motivations behind performing a particular act.
Consequence(s)
The results or outcomes that follow from a particular action.
