What is combustion?

A chemical proccess in which a substance reacts with oxygen to give of heat

What is ignition temperature?

Ignition temperature is the lowest temperature at which a substance will spontaneously ignite in a normal atmosphere without an external source of ignition, such as a flame or spark. Below this temperature, the substance will not burn.

Examples include forest fires caused by heat from the sun or spontaneous combustion of coal dust in mines.

   • Explosion: A very rapid type of combustion where a large amount of heat, light, and sound are produced with the rapid generation of gas. This can occur with the ignition of firecrackers or
