• Can also include interactive effects allowing visitors to engage with the animation action using their mouse and keyboard.

VIDEO

• Is a visual multimedia application that combines a sequence of images to form moving pictures and sound

DOCUMENT WINDOW

Is the large area in the center of the interface where the image is displayed. • It's where we edit the image. • Also known as Canvas

DOCUMENT TAB

displays the name and file type of the document and its current zoom level

ZOOM LEVEL AND STATUS

The current zoom level is displayed and to the right of zoom level is the status bar.

• By default the status bar displays the color profile of the image.

TOOL BAR

Also known as Toolbox or Tools Panel. • Where Photoshop holds all of its tools

OPTION BAR

Displays options for whichever tool we've selected in the toolbar.

• It can be found at the top of the interface

MENU BAR

Is where we find various options and commands

PANELS

Gives us access to all sorts of commands and options

LAYERS

Let you organize your work into distinct levels that can be edited and viewed as individual units

WORKSPACES

Is a preset collection and arrangement of the various interface elements.

It can change the layout of the tools in the Toolbar

It allows you to move items in your image

Will create a rectangular selection

ELLIPTICAL MARQUEE

Will create a elliptical selection

SINGLE COLUMN MARQUEE

Creates one pixel wide and all image high column selections

SINGLE ROW MARQUEE

creates one pixel wide and all image high row selections.

LASSO TOOL

create a selection within your image.

you can draw a selection around any part of your image using your mouse.

POLYGONAL LASSO TOOL

creates a selection with straight lines

MAGNETIC LASSO TOOL

follows the edge of an object in your image

QUICK SELECTION TOOL

selects an object in your image by interpreting and selecting along defined edges visible in your image

MAGIC WAND TOOL

selects a portion of your image that has the same or similar colors

SPOT HEALING TOOL

We can use this tool to clean up small unwanted marks from an image

HEALING BRUSH TOOL

matches the texture, lighting, and shading of the sampled pixels to the source pixels.

PATCH TOOL

This tool repairs a selected area with pixels that can be taken from another area or a pattern

RED EYE TOOL

CLONE STAMP TOOL

Copies a selected area of the photo and pastes it over another area. It's a great tool for fixing blemishes on a model's face

We can use this tool to quickly remove stray pixels or isolated shapes from an image.

BLUR TOOL

is used to make the image blur.

is useful for removing small facial blemishes and smoothing out wrinkles

DODGE TOOL

Can be used to lighten the areas that are underexposed in a photo.

BURN TOOL

Can be used to darken the areas that are underexposed in a photo.

Is used to place text on an image in the form of horizontal type selection. You can apply strokes to the type selection or fill it with solid color or gradient
