Course Goals:
The goal in learning an additional language is to comprehend, read and communicate orally and in writing in that language:
Meeting a college requirement for most public and private universities.
Course Expectations:
High standards of commitment and behavior are excepted in language classrooms.

Students are excepted to come to class prepared with a binder, paper, pencil, highlighters, and with all assignments completed and ready to turn.

If it is obvious to the teacher that the student did not follow the above steps and the homework has many errors, no credit will be given.

Cheating
all students will be held to the standards as stated in the LHS policy on plagiarism and consequences
Absences:
For unexcused absences (cuts) zeros will be recorded in the gradebook for class participation, tests and quizzes and any other work that is due on the date of the unexcused absence.
Tardies
For unexcused tardy, must comply with the tardy consequences of the lhs policy
Note: Whether tardy or absent , it is the students responsibility to find out what they have missed, compete the work and turn it in within the special time frame.
