Plagal Cadence
IV-I, mostly interior cadence, tonic note held as common tone in soprano part
Crossing Voices
Never allow a progression in one voice to pass over other voices
SATB Spacing
Keep SAT within an octave of each other, keep an octave of space in between T and B
7th Chord Progression Rule
The 7th of the chord must be lowered by 2 half steps to the next note, and the other voices must follow the general rules of movement (2nds, 3rds, 5ths)
