Difference between administrative and operational command
Administrative provides direct support for operation al often overlaps, while operation is the direct combat forces which change as units deploy. Administrative doesn’t not change as often.

When to salute:
To officers, when covered and in uniform. Salute CO at every meeting. During colors face national ensign if in uniform and not in formation, salute. When boarding and embarking a ship salute OOD and ensign.
Wardroom Ettiquette
Remove cover before entering, always b in proper uniform, introduce any other guests, request permission to join and leave the meal, don’t be loud or talk about no no topics.
Coming aboard/leaving a ship
stop halfway up the brow, face ensign and salute, continue to OOD, salute, state/ request permission and present ID, same thing in reverse for leaving.
