Foramen
Small round hole or opening usually for blood vessel or nerve passage.

Round hole larger than a foramen or more elongated.

Prominent narrow ridge.

Small, rough process.
Facet
Small, almost flat surface for articulation in a joint.
Line
Prominent narrow ridge.
Fossa
Shallow depression on the surface of bone.
Epicondyle
Raised area above a condyle.
Condyle
Smooth rounded process for articulation in a joint.
Spine
Narrow and pointed process.
Ramus
Flat bridge of bone that makes an angle to the rest of the structure.
