CVD
Cardiovascular Disease; a class of diseases that involve the heart or blood vessels.
Physical Activity (PA)
Any bodily movement produced by skeletal muscles that requires energy expenditure.
Moderate-Intensity Activity
Physical activity that noticeably increases your heart rate, such as brisk walking or dancing.
Anti-atherogenic Effect
The ability to reduce or prevent the formation of fatty deposits in arteries.
Thrombosis
The formation of a blood clot inside a blood vessel.
