Bank

Financial institution that helps people manage their money, protect it, and make it grow.

Deposit Slip

a  small paper form that a bank customer includes when depositing funds into a bank account. 

Check

a document that orders a bank to pay a specific amount of money from a person's account to the person in whose name the cheque has been issued

Check Register

is a document, usually part of the general ledger, used to record financial transactions in cash

ATM Receipt

a receipt issued by an ATM detailing a cash withdrawal.

Checking Account

a deposit account held at a bank or other financial institution.

Why balance your checkbook at the end of the month?

Reduces stress as its on time and it will lessen the amount of time it takes to complete the task.

How to write a check (refer to packets in baskets)

• Include full date

• If no cents, xx/100 OR 00/100

• If cents, 34/100

• Always sign your name to validate

How to write a deposit slip

• Cash back = sign your name

• Total items = number of checks
