3rd terrace

the wrathful, who are punished by being engulfed in smoke and fighting each other. Representatives = Marco Lombardo, the shade of Dante's friend.

4th terrace

the slothful, who are punished by being forced to run continuously while expressing their remorse. Representatives = none

5th terrace

the avaricious & prodigal, greed, forced to lay face down on the ground weeping, representatives = Pope Adrian V & Hugh Capet

6th terrace

the gluttonous, starving while being surrounded by the smell of food and drink, representatives = Forese Donati & Bongiuta da Lucca

7th terrace

the lustful, walk thru flames signifying temper, representatives = Guido Guinizelli and Arnout Daniel
