Random Variable
A numerical quantity that is assigned to the outcome of an experiment.
Probability
is the chance or likelihood that an event will happen.
Probability Distribution
is a correspondence that assigns probabilities to the values of a random variable.
Possible Distribution
is a listing of the possible values and the corresponding probabilities of a discrete random variable or a formula for the probabilities.
Variance and Standard deviation
are two values that describe how scattered or spread out the scores are from the mean value of random variable.
Mean
is the central value or average of its corresponding probability mass function.
