Who proposed the working memory model?
Baddeley and Hitch (1974) as an explanation of how one aspect of memory (STM) is organised and how it functions.
What is the working model?
Concerned with the ‘mental space’ that is active when temporarily storing and manipulating information. Consists of four main components which are qualitatively in terms of coding and capacity.
