Oviduct/fallopian tube (Female)
A pair of tubes through which travel from the ovaries to the uterus. This is the tube where the eggs travel down to the womb, fertilisation usually happens here.
Gland (Male)
Secrete a liquid to add to sperm. The sperm and liquid together are called semen.
Ovaries (Female)
They release and produce gametes (egg cells) and sex hormones (estrogen and progesterone).
Penis (Male)
For placing sperm into the female.
Cervix (Female)
This holds the fetus in place if the egg has been fertilised. It us a muscle that closes the top of the vagina.
Urethra (Male)
This lines the sperm duct. Semen and urine leave the penis through this.
Uterus/womb (Female)
This is where the fertilised egg would develop into a fetus.
Sperm duct (Male)
The sperm travels up this tube from the testicals.
Vagina/birth canal (Female)
This is a muscular tube that opens outside of the body. Sperm is deposited here.
Testes (Male)
The sperm and sex hormones (testosterone) are produced here.
Scrotum (Male)
The skin surronds the testes, holding them outside the body to keep sperm at the correct temperature.
