t-test
A statistical test used to determine if there is a significant difference between the means of two groups.
Paired Samples t-test

A statistical method used to compare means between three or more groups to determine if there are significant differences.
F-test
A test to determine if the observed variances between group means are statistically significant.
n-Way ANOVA
An extension of ANOVA that examines the effect of two or more independent variables on a dependent variable.
Between-group variance
The variance that measures how much sample means of different groups differ from each other.
Within-group variance
The variance that measures how much individual responses within each group differ from their group mean.
