Derivatives
Mathematical tools used to compute the rate of change of a function.
Antiderivatives
Functions that reverse the process of differentiation, given by the integral of the function.
C
A constant used in integration, representing the constant of integration.
trig substitution
A technique used in integration where trigonometric functions are substituted to simplify the integrand.
arcsin(u)
The inverse sine function, used to find the angle whose sine is u.
ln
Natural logarithm, the logarithm to the base e.
Sec
The secant function, which is the reciprocal of the cosine function.
csc
The cosecant function, which is the reciprocal of the sine function.
cot
The cotangent function, which is the reciprocal of the tangent function.
Integration by parts
A method of integration that uses the product rule of differentiation in reverse.
