Role of sugar, slaves, silver

Sugar Slaves and sliver where the three most wanted items during trade. silver was used as one of the first world currancy. slaves where bought with slaves. and sugar was a new item that blew up.

Differences between Spanish and Portuguese colonization

Spanish focused on mining for gold and sliver to produce money and there colonies where much closer together. where as when Portuguese came to the Americas seeking for gold and silver most land was taken out by Spanish but they found fertial soil so they grew sugar plantations and hired slaves to work on it.
