Transfiguration
Jesus, Peter, James and John in a high mountain.
He was transfigured – his appearance changed.
“His face shone like the sun, and his clothes became as white as the light.”
Moses and Elijah appeared, talking with Jesus.
Peter offered to “put up three shelters” for each of them.
But a bright cloud covered them, and a voice from the cloud said, “ This is my Son, whom I love; with him I am well pleased. Listen to him!”
The disciples heard this and fell facedown to the ground terrified
As they were coming down the mountain, Jesus said, “Don’t tell anyone until the Son of Man has been raised from the dead.”
