P-wave
Represents atrial depolarization in the cardiac cycle.
Atrial Depolarization
The initial phase of the heart's electrical cycle where the atria contract to push blood into the ventricles.
PR Segment
The time interval between the end of atrial depolarization and the start of ventricular depolarization.
QRS Complex
Represents the depolarization of the ventricles and is a key component of the ECG.
Isoelectric Line
Represents a state of no electrical activity during the cardiac cycle.
T-wave
Represents ventricular repolarization, the process of the ventricles resetting electrically.
Ventricular Depolarization
The phase in which the ventricles contract to pump blood out of the heart.
Ventricular Repolarization
The phase of the cardiac cycle when the ventricles recover from depolarization.
