Substantive Law

Determines application of different rights an individual may have

Procedural Law

Regulates the enforcement of substantive law, determines process in which cases are handling cases.

Public Law

Governs relationships between the state and individuals, includes constitutional,criminal,administrative law

Private Law

Regulates relationships between private persons , covers contracts, delicts, and marriage.

International Law

Governs relations between states, individuals, and international organizations, including treaties.

National Law

Law of a specific state that applies to that state

Criminal Procedure

Lays down procedure by which accused persons are brought to court and tried for alleged offenses

Civil Procedure

Determines how a private person should bring claims against another person

Law of Evidence

Regulates how evidence is used in court

Constitutional Law

Defines the structure of the state, powers, duties of the government, and citizen rights.

Administrative Law

Regulates how state goes about its administrative duties

Law of Delict

Covers injuries inflicted due to negligence, such as accidents leading to injuries.

Contract Law

Regulates agreements between parties, such as payment for services.
