The state-centric model: the government (state) hold the most power in a society. (it is the center of the state)

What are some elements that ensure human security?
Military protection - Protection from warfare, basic human needs (food, water, healthcare) - As stated before they are human needs that every single individual deserve the right to (unfortunately this is still not achieved), social equality - links to autonomy and the right to be a free individual
What is a nation?
A group of people who have a strong emotional, cultural, linguistic, religious, and historical ties (shared characteristics)
What is a state?
a political unit composed of people + a well defined territory + a set of governing institutions
What is the difference between a state and a nation?
A state is a political entity while a nation is a group of people who share common characteristics

The right of a group of people to make their own decisions
Difference between self-determination and autonomy.

Self-determination is about a group of people's rights to their own decisions and autonomy is an individual’s rights to their own decisions

What is the meaning of sovereignty?
A government have the right to make its own domestic and foreign political decisions
